Hallo and Welcome to my page. My name is Hedvig Wessel and I'm a professional skier. I started mogul skiing at the age of 11 and participated in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi and the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang. I have been competing in the World Cup in moguls for 7 years and after the 2018 Olympics I decided to change sport.  A couple of years ago I got introduced to Big Mountain skiing. My love for skiing has evolved with the hours spent in the mountains, and I want to see how I can push myself in freeride. Winter 2018 I got a wildcard to Verbier Extreme, the Freeride World Tour Grand Final. After my performance and finishing 4th, I received a wildcard for the Tour 2019. Beside the Freeride World Tour I am producing a web series together with my partners called Hedvig's Way. The films gives a deeper understanding of who I am and what I need to learn to become a freerider and reach my goal to be the Freeride World Champion. Watch my YouTube Channel here
